XP League, a prominent youth esports league in North America, has announced the opening of its first esports centre in Powder Springs, Georgia, USA.
The facility, set to open on May 20th, will provide coach-led competitive gaming opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school-aged youth, utilizing the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) methodology.
Located within Champion Performance Training, the XP League gaming and practice room spans approximately 500 square feet. It will offer coach-led esports games, including popular titles like Fortnite, VALORANT, and Apex Legends, fostering an environment that prioritizes teaching and coaching methods to help children develop social skills, sportsmanship, and self-confidence.
The league’s new programme aims to create a secure environment where young players can enhance their gaming abilities while also focusing on personal growth. By promoting social skills, sportsmanship, and self-confidence, XP League seeks to provide a holistic esports experience for its participants.
As part of a limited-time Founding Family Promotion available until August 1st, the first 50 sign-ups will receive exclusive benefits. This package includes two weekly gaming sessions led by an XP League Certified Coach, access to the XP League Community Discord, participation in various events and tournaments, and custom jerseys.
Since being acquired by Unleashed Brands in April 2022, XP League has experienced rapid expansion. The league forged a partnership with Parabellum Esports in November of the same year, and in January, it expanded its presence by opening a franchise in Central Florida.
Lamarr Dixon, an XP League franchisee, expressed enthusiasm about the esports centre’s opening, stating, “We are thrilled to bring our premier esports centre to the people of Powder Springs. At XP League, our goal is to help today’s youth of all ages learn, play, and grow, while building confidence, social skills, and sportsmanship through esports. We are excited for everyone to come in and experience our unique centre firsthand.”
