If you’re a gamer planning to visit South Korea, don’t miss out on one of the most unique cafes in Seoul – the brand new T1 Base Camp PC Bang.
Located in the Hongdae neighborhood, known for its youthful vibe and urban subculture, T1’s PC Bang opens its doors on May 13.
T1’s PC Bang offers an experience like no other. At 9,200 square feet, the venue is decked out in T1’s signature red, white, and black brand colors. The walls are adorned with images of their pro players, including Faker, Zeus, Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria. Livestreamed games on huge LED screens make for an unforgettable experience for fans, and you can pick up official T1 merchandise in the store. There are also Elite and Premium zones where you can purchase consoles, games, and other licensed gaming goods.
But what sets T1’s PC Bang apart is its Esports Zone, where you can try out for T1’s Challengers or Rookies team. Instructors from T1 Esports Academy will scout potential players, giving visitors a chance to enroll in T1A courses and even pursue a path to pro.
Josh Ahn, T1’s COO, said, “It’s extremely exciting to expand T1’s brand as we venture into the PC cafe business. Visitors will be able to not only play various games but purchase T1 goods as well as experience various events put together by T1.”
T1 partnered with SuperPlay, a local South Korean gaming lifestyle brand, to create the T1 Base Camp PC Bang.
The T1 Base Camp will open its doors for a week-long soft launch on May 5, 2023, and is located at 147, Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul B1, South Korea.
