LS Joins FlyQuest: Aligning with a Positive Brand for Mental Health Progress

Renowned League of Legends analyst Nick “LS” De Cesare has announced that he is joining North American esports organization FlyQuest as a streamer and content creator.

LS began discussions with the organization in December 2022, and after four months, both parties have finalized the contract. Some may perceive a contrast between LS’s brand and FlyQuest’s positive image, which emphasizes environmentalism and outreach. However, LS disagrees with this notion.

FlyQuest’s positivity aligns with LS’s mental health journey

In the summer of 2022, LS took a break from content creation due to stress and personal issues. During Worlds 2022, he returned to producing content while also undergoing a comprehensive mental health assessment in South Korea.

In January 2023, LS revealed his autism diagnosis. Alongside therapy, he has been consistently taking medication for anxiety and ADHD for the past year. LS stated that his newfound understanding of himself and his mental health has helped him feel more connected to FlyQuest’s positive brand.

LS will continue to create analytical content for League of Legends, now on FlyQuest’s YouTube channel. Fans can expect collaborations with top-tier pros in other games, such as Magic the Gathering, and in-person appearances.

Established in 2017 and co-owned by Wesley Edens, the co-owner of the NBA team Milwaukee Bucks, FlyQuest secured a spot in the league when the LCS adopted a franchising model in 2018. Their current LCS roster includes Worlds 2013 winner Jeong “Impact” Eon-young and former TSM jungler Mingyi “Spica” Lu. This year, former LCK shoutcaster Christopher “PapaSmithy” Smith joined the organization as its President and Chief Gaming Officer.
