EPIC FAZE-NAVI CLASH DOMINATES BLAST PARIS MAJOR EUROPE RMR DAY TWO

The BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR A round two is set to kick off on Friday in Copenhagen, Denmark, with first qualifications for the Major and eliminations to be determined.

Following the completion of day one, the stage is prepared for the third round of the Major qualifier. Eight matches will be held throughout the day, with four being best-of-one games in the 1-1 pool. The remaining encounters will be best-of-three clashes, as two teams secure their spots in the Major with perfect RMR runs, while two more will face elimination from the RMR.

The day’s most anticipated matchup is undoubtedly the PGL Antwerp Major grand final rematch between FaZe and Natus Vincere (NaVi). Both teams, considered the top-rated sides of the 16-team LAN, concluded day one with impeccable 2-0 records, despite NaVi’s challenging double-overtime match against Into the Breach.

The Swiss system’s Bucholtz Score, which factors in previous results for scheduling future games, brings these two giants together. NaVi achieved their 2-0 start with victories over Into the Breach and Falcons, while FaZe defeated OG and Apeks to maintain their own 2-0 record.

The winner of the intense best-of-three will secure a Legends Stage spot in the Major in France, while the losing team will drop to the 2-1 pool and attempt to advance again.

In other matchups, B8 faces off against fnatic for a chance at their own BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage spot. The Ukrainian team has displayed strong performances in their two matches, contrasting with fnatic’s more challenging victories against lower-ranked opponents.

Meanwhile, OG and Sprout will fight to avoid a last-place departure from the Regional Major Ranking tournament. Both teams have underperformed in Denmark, and now must defeat SAW and Viperio, respectively, to keep their Paris Major aspirations alive.

The remaining four games will be best-of-one contests in the 1-1 bracket: Virtus.pro will challenge Into the Breach, while MOUZ aims to bounce back from their opening round loss to B8 in a match against Falcons.
