But, as we have seen, LNG has shown that Rumble’s AoE damage and zoning remain relevant in important objective engagements. DK’s Strategic Approach
On the other hand, DK has been more inclined to create strategies based on the fact that they are fighting against their opponents’ team compositions. They’ve employed versatile picks such as Yone and Smolder to make their opponents uncomfortable during drafts, trying to capitalize on the opponent’s missteps instead of concentrating on their own strategy.
Strengths and Weaknesses
This has been effective against weaker teams but one has to wonder whether DK is prepared for a team of LNG’s quality. LNG has been more accurate and cohesive in their performance on the field, while DK has been known to have weaknesses, especially when under pressure. The map pressure and the ability to dictate engagements and time to the enemy’s disadvantage are undoubtedly in the favor of LNG.
Prediction
As it stands, DK might be hard-pressed to match LNG’s intensity and adaptability in its current state. If DK is able to take a lead, then there are question marks over whether they can win close games. A close series would be beneficial for DK, but it would not be shocking to see LNG winning the series 2-0 due to the recent performance and the fact that DK tends to crumble under pressure.
