Serbian based esports organization 9Pandas has unveiled the new lineup of players for Dota 2 competition this year. Posted on the team’s official Telegram channel, the roster recalls Alexey “Solo” Berezin from inactivity and Daniil “erase” Ivanov and Maksim “pjoN” Netrebskiy join the team as stand-ins for DreamLeague Season 24 qualifiers.
Solo’s return is a major boost for 9Pandas after he was demoted to the inactive roster in July due to poor performances in Riyadh Masters qualifiers, TI2024 qualifiers, and the Elite League Season 2 qualifiers. As a captain, Solo has been a part of the Eastern European (EEU) Dota scene for a long time and is considered one of the most experienced leaders in the region. His return could be the boost the team requires to get back on track in terms of direction.
The new mid laner for 9Pandas is Daniil “erase” Ivanov, who used to play for Yellow Submarine, and he demonstrated good stability. On the other hand, pJoN from Yellow Submarine is an emerging offlaner who is famous for his Mars skills. He will replace Albert “alberkaaa” Chernoivanov for the time being, who plays for L1GA TEAM during the DreamLeague qualifiers.
This new roster will be joined by main players Mikhail “Darklord^” Blinov and Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet as the team aims for a spot in DreamLeague Season 24.
9Pandas’ Qualifier Roster:
- Mikhail “Darklord^” Blinov
- Maksim “pjoN” Netrebskiy
- Daniil “erase” Ivanov
- Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet
- Alexey “Solo” Berezin
9Pandas will not be attending BetBoom Dacha Belgrade but their main goal is to qualify for DreamLeague Season 24 which is important for Dota 2 EPT Points and progression to major tournaments such as ESL One Bangkok.
